Airbag, passive safety, in-depth analysis
The number of cars equipped with airbags has been rising constantly. At the same time, an increasing number of airbag malfunctions has been reported. This paper examines different examples of airbag malfunctions and their implications for accident reconstruction. Two main defects are described. It is crucial for the injured person that a technical proof of the airbag malfunction is possible.
