The article presents tests on accelerating passenger cars. Five cars under different loading were tested. In the measurements of distance in the function of time GPS was used. Following mathematical transformation of the results formulae presenting time in the function of velocity and distance as well as acceleration in the function of time and
velocity were proposed.
