Swider, P.: Wider Application of Prof. A. Slibar Method
Application of formulas describing braking run, motorcyle and motorcyclist throw distance
Reconstruction of road accident requires knowledge of accident‘s location. Empirical functions describing some relationships are subject to errors. Prof. Slibar Method allows to minimise these errors. Change in technology of vehicles‘ structure is another problem. Introduction of laminated windscreens, plastic headlamps, ABS systems etc. cause currently a lack of traces, which could be found in accident’s location not so long ago. In this paper possibilities of adaptation of other relationships connected with pedestrian’s or one-track vehicle’s impact to Prof. A. Slibar Method were discussed. Exemplary graphs of applications were
presented for extended method.
